programmer programs chip in 8 bit pin 6 con ground / or 16 bit pin 6 nc and verifys as succesful

but when read buffer reads all ff ff ff

also cannot get device id from chip

using either 5v usb supply both vcc and vpp lit when programming
or using external 13v 1.2 a supply only vcc lit

just bought this programmer to read this one eprom 93lc86 microwire tested hardware with usb power supply connected ,hardware tested fine all dip switches set to off inserted 93lc86 sioc on adapter board in correct socket to read contents programmer status was chip read succesfully ,except dump was ...
