Measured positive values between 0.4-0.6 in all pins except pin 1:1 and 32:32. here i get a different very higher values that blinks for a second and then disappear again. so i think the connection 1:1 and 32:32 ar faulty. btw i did this wile device off power, shall i do on power? i didn't get any e...

How do u mean i do shall i check the zif pins to ground and the plcc or shall i do it against each other?

I checked the backside of the board without finding any soldering shorts.

the top socket, by the way i didnt activate the VPP i only activated A18, i did misunderstand you at he check between ZIF and PLCC but the reading 12 was from ground to top socket plcc

unchecked box 11.99, activated 7.13
i measured from ZIF 31/1 to plcc 32/1 which is the middle one top

Looks position 20 V left. Go test H/W , activate first 32-Vcc and measure voltage (~+5V) between ground (port connector body) and ZIF32/32. Then go A18 checking. Note, you keep settings as selected for A29040, activate/deactivate box 31-A18, measure voltage between ground and ZIF32/1 as for ZIF32/3...

i dont know if i'm doing it right with readings coz it dont it makes any sense... i have this multimeter to go with....
u can just say which setting should i use and where exactly to apply the wires to while reading the voltage.

I checked with V~ vlue 300 and here are the readings

Ground with P port reading 25 at the plcc32 pin 1
checked A18-31 box reads 15
unchecked box reads 25 - 26

by the way while trying to burn chips today and getting errors i tried to read the half flashed chip.... the thing that amazed med is that the item seems to flash at 0x000000 and 0x040000 at the same time, so while looking at the buffer its reads the same blocks again from 0x040000.


is this normal?

DO u mean that i have to put the ends of the voltmeter on pin 31 on zif and no 4 on plcc32 ?
