I am working on a one-off project concerning a 27c1024 plcc44 ( litteraly i need to read and write this eprom only once ) .


Before rushing to ebay and get a willem with all adapters i would like to know HOW i can read and write an 27c1024 plcc44

Anyone who can give me info on this ??

- How to do it ( read and write )
- What to buy ;
willem -> which version is the best ?
16 bit adapter -> which one 2 versions available
ofcourse 40 dip to plcc44 adapter

Any generic Willem programmer support 27C1024 with 16bit EPROM adapter.
Recomended versions pcb50 from Sivava, pcb50e.

I saw on ebay that there are 2 versions of the 16 bit eprom adapter .
Is there an important difference between the 16 bit adapter for < 4mb AND the adapter for > 4mb ??

Links ? Try find partner offering programmer and adapter.
Here are adapters with and without PLCC44 sockets, with ZIF40 and/or ZIF42 , with DIP40 and/or DIP42 sockets. Your chip is 1Mb, DIP42 socket not compatible. Find support 27C1024.

indeed i found a seller offering both willem , AND dip40 adapter.

i hope these components are the right ones.
