*** SOLVED *** info needed for mcs 48 and mcs 51 adapter

Who can help me with a simple Question...............

I am currently making an mcs 48 , and an mcs 51 adapter for my willem programmer.

The question is ;

What CRYSTAL and HOW will the frequency affect the programming of the devices

i have seen 3,58 Mhz , 4 Mhz , and even 4-12 Mhz as an crystal frequency.

Is there any objection to use a 4 mhz for both boerds , or better .............................??
