My Willem Programmer doesn´t detect the PIC16F88.
After reading the Datasheet i´ve built an ICSP adapter with this wiring:
ICSP PIN -> PIC
1 VPP -> 4
2 VCC -> 14
3 VSS -> 5
4 PGD -> 13
5 PGC -> 12
But no sucess. I can´t read the ID.
To be sure LVP is deactivated I also tried to pull down
PGM (PIC Pin 9) via a 100ohm resistor
But this doesn´t help.
Maybe someone know a solution?

UPDATE
Good news:
It seems that my ICSP cable was too long.
After shortened it to about 5cm (2 inch) I was able to programm the 16F88
Now i still have a question:
The HEX file which i transfered has set the PIC´s Oscillator Type to HS.
Is this the reason why verifying failed after programming? (also no ID)
If so i must to connect a HighSpeed crystal if i want to verify or programm again, right?
