I have two 27c010 eproms I want to dump before they die of bit-rot, but I have a few questions before I do.
I have a willem 5.0 programmer, and I'm not exactly sure how to set it up. I moved some jumpers around the last time I used it, and that was several months ago. If I have some jumpers in the wrong place, will that damage the eprom when I try to dump it? I think it's set to pcb 3.0 mode right now, and I think I know how to change it back, but I want to be %100 sure before I do. I think I also messed with the j12 (expand) jumpers the last time I used it. Does it matter how that is set?
I set the jumpers and dip switches the way the picture shows in the willem program. It's just the ones it doesn't show that I'm worried about.
Thanks!

Re: 27c010 dumping question
What version of pcb5.0 do you have ?
Most important for eproms - Vcc=5V, Vpp=12.7 (if you look to program 27C010), 12 pos.DIP-switch, jumper left from dipswitch panel, and 2 jumper blocks right from ZIF panel. Voltage levels you can verify in Test H/W mode. jumpers and dipswitch panel - follow picture in sw.
Here is 2 paralel jumpers switching modes , pcb3b to work with SW 0.97ja, pcb45 mode to work with 0.98dx.

Re: 27c010 dumping question
Thanks. It's PCB 5.0E. I tried dumping both chips, and the dumps from both chips were identical with the exception of one byte. Is that normal, or do you think I dumped them wrong?
Re: 27c010 dumping question
Read chip and verify against first result (means 2x read is the same)
