Hello Guys,
I need help with programming a SST 49LF080A 33-4C-NHE
I have a Willem Programmer with the PCB 5.0 written on it and have the SST chip installed in the bottom LPC socket.
I have selected the device through the file menu and can erase the chip and says "erase completed by check DQ7"
However when I load the Binary data into the program and click the program button it says
"error at 0x000008 Chip = 0x90 buffer = 0xF8"
I cant seem to get anywhere!
HELP!

Re: Help Needed with programming a chip
Hi,
I have the jumpers set to PCB 5.0 and using software 0.98D10.
When I press the "Electronic ID" it reads it as
Manufacture 0x90
Device ID 0x10
When I press the Blank Check ID it throws up a diffrent error
"Error at 0x000000 Chip = 0x90 buffer =0x90"

Re: Help Needed with programming a chip
You are unable to handle erase and program without valid ID.
Check PLCC chip pins from side and bottom. Softly clean pins sideward.

Thanks
I have clean the chip contacts with water, and dried them, and I still get the same error.

Re: Help Needed with programming a chip
Ok,
I have used a multimeter, and confirmed the chip is seated in the socket correctly.
Could this be a jumpers issue ?
WHere should all my jumpers be ?
thanks
