Which software should I use? I have Version 0.97ja but I want to know if I can use any newer version.

I want to flash AM29F010-120PC. How should I set jumpers? Is this right :







I have a 9V 300mA adaptor, is it ok for power supply?

- 0.97ja is OK. Exist latest mod 0.97d12c3, most changes for serial part.
- Normal
- Normal 12.5V . For AM29F010 voltage Vpp not used.
- 5V
- Normal
- 9V 300mA supply OK.
Place dipswitches according picture in SW.
Place chip and run action get ID. Be sure on valid ID reply.
No ID, I recommend check all programmer signals in Test H/W mode.

At29f010 and 27c010 - no fuse bits at all.

9-12V 300..500mA. For flash memory current can be less.

Apply parallel port extension cable, find in PC shops. All lines are 1:1, female one side, male other side.

Before any action with flash memory apply command Get ID . Do you have a valid reply ?
I recomend go through Test H/W, activate all signals one by one on/off and measure voltage chandes on related ZIF pin/

Read (or get ID) without target chip usually return values 0х04 or 0х06. That's normal, usually such tests nonvaluable. Get ID with target chip always return values. Something wrong - these values are equal to first bytes in buffer after Read.

Apply settings as shown in picture. Tick on particular checkbox activate this signal and you are able check voltage on related ZIF32 pin.
Activate all signals one by one (!) on/off and measure voltage. Usually ticked box value >4V (except A9 ~3.7), unticked close to 0V. 32-Vcc return +5, 1-Vpp return +12.7 , if different change voltage jumpers settings. For data signals (D0-D7) keep activ OE-24

why is GND disabled?

Ground is permanent.

I have a problem :

I can program my chip but it is awful :
I have to click on "Program Chip" button about 50 times to complete the programming task! For example first time it programs about 3% then second time it would be 5% next time 8% and so on ...
I have to do it again and again until it become 100%!
The worst thing is, it doesn't support resume! I mean every time it starts from beginning but every time it makes a little progress!
I am worried about my Chip to receive damage.
How can I fix this issue?
