Found this one:

I have performed every step on my Willem ver 4.1 board.
I installed a double line switcher to allow th 2 modes:
- Normal Willem 41 to work with epr0.97xxx softwares
- Sivava PCB50B mode, to work with epr0.98xxx softwares

Result:
- Normal mode it works as always before, i.e., everything is ok but 27Cxxx EPROMS, which i never was able te read it, and i still don't know why.
- Sivava PCB50B mode, it reads wrong bits #6, #3 and #1 of every byte read, but this bits are not random bu always the same after reading a specific memory.

so , is there another change to do which is not explained at:

:?:

thanks in advance!
and congratulations for this forum :!:

Ezo
Generally we have to discuss about 3 changes:
1) adress split , 2 jumpers
2) parallel output , 4021 with 2 additional output logic invertors
3) voltage reduction to 3.6V for 25Cxxx (spi flash)
What changes done ?
What version of Willem 4.1 , original Willem with LM317/without MC34063 ?
Old forum related topic pcb45 mod info you can find here

DAMN :!:

My stupid fault.
What is explained here
about modifying Willem 4.1 board is absolutely correct.
I just confused pins in the CD4049 chip, grrr.
It works like a charm now.

BTW my 4.1 is original one (original Willem with LM317/without MC34063), i.e., the opt. relay version, awesome board btw ;)

Thanks a lot Ezo for your answer anyway!

A few pics are much better than 1000 words:
MOD_Willem_board_4.1_to_PCB5.7z
MOD_Willem_board_4.1_to_PCB5.7z

Notice i don't use a double line jumper, but a manual double line switcher (which is a bit nonsense, but i own some manual double line switchers out here, and i didn't know what to do with it), and i simply used epoxi to fix it to the board.
Pics say it all.
