I am using EZoFlash4v5
and I need to program PIC16F870
can you please tell me what adapter I must Use?
in chip database there is said: adapter - universal
what is universal adapter?
I don't understand

Chip test file has your chip record with settings and connections.
5 pins from ICSP/SER connector should be connected (wired) to chip.
ICSP/SER 1- Vpp > chip pin1, 2- Vcc > chip pin 20, 3-GND > chip pins 8 and 19,
4-RB7 > chip pin 28, 5-RB6 > chip pin 27.
You can use universal adapter , picture universal_pic1.jpg find in section Adapters, serial package.
Universal adapter can be replaced with SDIP-28 socket and solder wires to socket.
Recently new adapter PIC_A1 available for ezoflash4v5, look post from 03.05.11 here, based on design from dmibr
