Hello,
I am trying to erase this flash Intel 28F640J3 chip but I am getting this error "VPP Range error"
I can read the binary and save to file. But I can't erase the chip.
I am using TSOP 56_A1 adapter.
28F640J3 (can't erase) VPP range error
Re: 28F640J3 (can't erase) VPP range error
Check voltage for target chip, Test H/W, Vcc. It should be below 3.6V
Chip has internal voltages Vcc and Vpp control.
For ezoflash remove jumpers Jp1..3, with voltage 2.9 for target chip.
Check jumpers Jp7/Jp8. Comercial adapter has marking error. Jumper should be Jp7 (Vpp=Vcc) according http://www.ezoflash.com/adapters/tsop56 ... onents.htm
Latest SW support 28F640 J3.
Restore lines from pins 35 and 36 on adapter.
Remove jumpers Jp9 and Jp10, don't use more. You can remove jumper pins at all.
To check chip ID, select device LH28F160B.
To read, write, erase , select device 28F640J3 (8/16bit). Don't apply 16bit 28F640J3.
Untick/remove SW option 28FxxxJ3 Write to Buffer.

Re: 28F640J3 (can't erase) VPP range error
Thank you Ezo
Unfortunately I can't check the voltage, I can't find the VCC and GND on the adapter. I am using original manufactured tsop56a1 adapter and ezoflash v4.5. I tried your settings but I am getting the same error. I removed jumpers jp1 and jp3. On adapter I set correctly jumper jp7.
Jumpers Jp9 and Jp10 are totally removed.
This is the exactly model of the chip: JS28F640J3D75
Datasheet of my chip

Please help.
