SPI Flash MX25L3206E issues with Willem 5.0E [Solved]

I spent many hours trying to read and program 25L3206E which is similar to 25L3205D
I couldn't find anywhere if my chip is supported. Many references to 25L3205D but nothing about mine.
Finally found software on this site with extended list of SPI chips 098.D12c3
First I tried in-board and then removed the chip but couldn't get any reading. Found the problem:
pin 7 #HOLD needs to be high - connected it to VCC = 3.3V
Now I got some erratic readings not passing verification. After shortening wires from 10cm to 1cm and using quality DC supply I got clean readings.

I also faced similar problems with writing. It didn't work with the IC socket. I had to again make connection very short to be able to write. Just to make sure, I added pin 3 #WP (Write Protect) to VCC as well.
