29LV800 issues

Hi, i'm new to the forum so just correct me if i placed this in the wrong section.

I'm having some trouble with an MX29LV800. I chose 8/16 bit 29lv800 in Request 3v3 adapter section, so that should be ok. When i try to read chip ID, i get manufacturer ID 0x00 (???) and device ID 0x03. CFI query seems to work as I get acceptable information. Reading into buffer works perfectly, however when I try to erase or program the chip, it fails. Erasing finishes with "Chip Erase Error" and programming immediately returns an error like "Error at 0x2652024: Chip = 0x20 Buffer = 0x27"

Checked all the signals with the testing-pdf from the Guides section. Jumpers are Jp2-Jp5 and I'm using willem 0.97-ja.
