Hi everyone,
I purchased a Willem PCB 5.0e from a local dealer. It works fine for 28pin socket eeproms.
My problem is that when I tried to program a 16F877A via ICSP, I couldn't get it working. Hardware present, all dips are at correct locations and I am pretty sure I did the ICSP wiring correct. It is a dual powered (lpt + usb) board.
ICSP - PIC16F877A
------------------------
Vpp - 1
Vcc - 11
Gnd - 12
Data - 40
CLK - 39
I can see device ID, when I do a read or write operation I can not see device ID until I restart the software and board itself. There seems some malfunction but I can not seem to spot it.
Anyone have any experience with ICSP on 40pin Microchip IC's ? I am using EPROM 3 software on win xp sp2 and from board I adjusted the necessary jumper.
Any help would really be appreciated!
Thank you

Re: PCB 5.0e ICSP Problem
Connection topology is right, it was just a wiring problem.
