PIC willem pcb 5.0, need it very bad

Here is Willem connections explanation for 29F040.
A18 checking
- is jumper Jp3 on top (A18>pin1)
- is really DSW12/2 and DSW12/12 off ?
In past was reports on dipswitch mechanical failure. Switch in off position , connection activ.
Check with multimeter mentioned switch functionality.

they are, i know coz i took out the dipswith and instead used small connectors between 3,5,6,10 and 11 just to make sure that number 2 and 12 are off....
still the same thing

Get multimeter for A18 checking. You can try LED with resistor (470...1k) as indicator.
Can't help more.

Keep settings as selected for A29040 and go Test H/W. Activate/deactivate 31/A18 and measure voltage changes (5/0V) on ZIF32/1 and PLCC32/1 (middle pin in top line).

I did as above , unchecked givesme 6.71, checked box gives 6.38. or 2.71 respectivly 2.15 depending on voltmeter activ test value.

i never got any value near 0.

Ground one multimeter wire end to body of programmer paralel port connector.

I checked with V~ vlue 300 and here are the readings

Ground with P port reading 25 at the plcc32 pin 1
checked A18-31 box reads 15
unchecked box reads 25 - 26

i dont know if i'm doing it right with readings coz it dont it makes any sense... i have this multimeter to go with....
u can just say which setting should i use and where exactly to apply the wires to while reading the voltage.

Go test H/W , activate first 32-Vcc and measure voltage (~+5V) between ground (port connector body) and ZIF32/32.
Then go A18 checking. Note, you keep settings as selected for A29040, activate/deactivate box 31-A18, measure voltage between ground and ZIF32/1

as for ZIF32/32 it reads 5.07
As for the ZIF 32/1 reads 4.86 activated and 0 unactivated.
As for the PLCC32/1 it reads 12 in both ways

Which socket do you measure ? It should be PLCC32, top PLCC32 socket right from ZIF socket.
12V of any of PLCC32 is strange value and can be failure , in case not activ box 1-Vpp in Test H/W.

I didn't ask you activate 1-Vpp. You can extend your failures.
I know pin1 is middle in top line.
But right from ZIF socket are 2 PLCC sockets located . Which supply 12V on pin1 - top or bottom socket ?

Not clear for me !? One multimeter wire is always grounded. Here is no measure between ZIF32/1 and plcc32/1

the top socket, by the way i didnt activate the VPP i only activated A18, i did misunderstand you at he check between ZIF and PLCC but the reading 12 was from ground to top socket plcc

With A29040 settings jumper left from dipswitch panel should be in top position(A18). What is voltage on open bottom pin of jumper without Test H/W box activating ?
